Small objects,
sunlit stories.
The Essentials brings the atmosphere of a long Mediterranean afternoon into the things that travel with us: T-shirts, phone cases, tote bags and future editions made for everyday rituals.
Each piece begins as an illustration and becomes a fragment of a larger imagined world—warm stone, striped umbrellas, garden tables and the deep blue edge of the sea.

02 / The mood
A holiday
you can carry.
Designed to feel collected rather than manufactured, every object holds the ease of the Riviera and the warmth of an old southern house.

The artists
behind the house.
Maison Gatta is built around three distinct artistic voices. Two are openly AI-assisted house practices—fictional studio identities used to explore colour, place and memory—alongside the work and direction of Munira Yussuf.
01
Elio Marini
AI-assisted house artist · Coastal studies
Elio is a narrative studio identity inspired by Ligurian railway journeys, faded travel posters and the hard blue line where sea meets sky.
02
Sabine Bellori
AI-assisted house artist · Gardens & interiors
Sabine’s imagined practice moves through citrus gardens, old textiles and the quiet geometry of rooms opened to summer air.
03
Munira Yussuf
Artist & creative direction
Munira shapes the visual language of Maison Gatta through drawing, painting and a fascination with atmosphere, ornament and the emotional life of colour.
“We make objects that feel as though they have already lived somewhere beautiful.”

01 / The house
Rooms shaped
by Mediterranean light.
Living imagines a home accumulated over generations: linen, painted walls, framed views and useful things chosen slowly.
Its collections are designed to layer naturally—prints beside textiles, quiet neutrals beside saturated colour—so a room feels personal rather than styled.

For the table, the wall and the quiet corner where afternoon becomes evening.

Made for a home

Begin with an art print. Add a cushion, a plaid, a table textile. The collection is conceived as a family of pieces rather than a set.

03 / The beginning
A house without
a public face.
Maison Gatta was founded privately by two people drawn together by art, old houses and the belief that beautiful objects should still feel useful. They choose to remain outside the frame, allowing the artists and the work to carry the story.
The house takes its cues from places where hospitality, art and daily ritual are inseparable: a shaded farm courtyard in Puglia, a tiled room above the Riviera, linen drying in a sea breeze.
This is not a reconstruction of one real estate, but an evolving creative home—part memory, part invention, always open to new chapters.
“The most memorable rooms are never finished. They continue to gather stories.”
